Sample of Program Themes (which can be woven into presentations):

  • What is happiness and how do I find it?

  • What I have is not who I am. What I think, feel and do is what I am.

  • It is okay to be "different." We ALL are!

  • What is a friend? How do I make some? How can I be one?

  • It's okay to fail. It is what I do with failing that matters.

  • I don't have to feel outcast or unwanted -- no matter what others do.

  • When things go wrong, when is it my fault? When is it not?

  • My made-up mind is stronger than any group of my friends. ("Peer Pressure")

  • I am somebody, and the somebody I am is powerful!

  • "Nothing happens unless first a dream." I need to dream, and I need goals to make dreams come true

  • Choices: How do I make them? When? Why? Are some of them automatic? (The Conscious and Subconscious Mind)

  • We don't have to wait for mentors to adopt us. We can adopt them!

  • We learn best what we teach others. I can be a teacher and a better learner at the same time!

  • If anything is "wrong" with me, I can make it "right." I may need help, but I can find the help I need.

  • It's okay to be mad! (It's just not okay to be mean.) I can handle my anger!

  • E+R=O I may not always be able to control the EVENTS in my life, but I CAN control my RESPONSES to the events; and that's what determines the OUTCOMES.

  • When I hurt, I don't have to hurt others.

  • When we have conflicts, problems or difficulties with someone else, is it possible for us to laugh ourselves right out of them?
