A dynamic group of singer/songwriters and musicians,
Voices of the Heart creates unique and inspiring musical
experiences for audiences. With jazz-influenced vocal
harmonies reminiscent of groups like The Manhattan Transfer;
Earth, Wind & Fire; or Steely Dan, the group has a
sound that is a treat for the ears while their musical
selections and creations are a delight for the mind and
heart.

LIGHTWEAVER

Denise
Jackson-Simon and Roberta Stephens-Satori are Lightweaver.
With every thing they do, their intention is to work with
light - their own, yours and the greater light that surrounds
and infuses us all. By weaving these different sources
of light together, Roberta and Denise create tapestries
of celebration and enlightenment that focus on finding
the humor and joys of each new life experience and encourage
us to learn to remain open to embracing life's changes
and challenges in a way that allows us to grow.

In their performances
and workshops, Denise and Roberta address audience members and participants
as holistic beings, touching on related emotional, physical, mental
and spiritual aspects of what it means to be human. Their tools
are a variety of presentation forms that stem from their talents
as singers, songwriters, musicians, group process facilitators,
workshop presenters, educators and entertainers.
They may become characters
that range from two hilarious grandmas named Mabel and Beulah, to
19th Century "ladies of the evening," to Southern California "valley
girls," to Jewish debutantes. But regardless of what characters
they play, you will be touched in unique ways.
